Wolf

I’ve been sick a lot lately and haven’t had the time or energy to do personal work. I started this one quite some time ago, and it’s still unfinished. I think I need a break since my creativity has been running low these days.

The Last Polar Bear

Now that I’m a bit more confident with my vector skills, I decided to experiment further and see where it will take me. What I’m trying to achieve is a style that’s unique from the rest of the talented people out there whom I just can’t compete with.

This one’s called ‘The Last Polar Bear’. The woman is the grim reaper who sadly waits for the bear to eventually drown when his tiny iceberg melts.

Myth

I'm back to blogspot (or is it blogger?) after some time of absence. Hi all.

And in line with my return, I'm posting up my recent illustration based on a joke a friend made about sending a herd of unicorns as my imaginary birthday present. I decided to experiment with pure vector because I feel that I’m too concerned with styling, that I totally leave the narrative out of the picture. By using vector the style of the outcome is inevitable, and therefore I can concentrate with the story.

Welcome stranger

When I was nine I kept a sketchbook that only me my best friend knew about. The brown cover tattered, on its cheap pages were my drawings of clothes that I designed myself. The drawings were more naive than beautiful, but they embodied a passion that I felt so early in my life. Those pages weren't for anyone but myself.

I religiously filled the pages, at least one a day.

One day I stopped. Then I forgot.

And out of the blue, on this day many years later, I remember again. My tattered brown sketchbook. It might be gone forever but the emotions attached still remain. And they have brought me here to continue the tale of a childhood love once lost.
